Privacy policy
LedgerLore · effective October 8, 2026
LedgerLore does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDK. The app has no server, so there is nowhere for your data to go.
Your study progress
Your answers, review schedule and settings are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud, they sync between your own devices through your private iCloud database, which only you can read. The developer cannot see it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Microphone and speech recognition
In hands-free mode, the microphone and speech recognition are used only to grade a spoken answer. Recognition runs on your device. No audio is recorded, kept or sent anywhere.
While the app is open, it remembers in memory what the recognizer heard on your last few attempts at each exercise. Quitting the app clears it, and it is never written to disk, synced or sent, except as described next.
Reports and email you choose to send
When you tap Report an issue, your own mail app opens a message to the developer. It names the exercise and, if you answered by voice, includes what the recognizer heard on that exercise. Nothing is sent unless you send it, and you can read and edit the message first. Emails you send are used only to answer you and to fix the app, and are never shared or sold.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. To remove synced progress, delete LedgerLore's data under your iCloud storage settings on your device.
Children
LedgerLore collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
